Groups address the psychological issues faced in early recovery from drug and alcohol abuse.

  • Through group discussion and structured exercises, the clients will gain insight into the complexities of emotional barriers and established dysfunctional behavior patterns that can prevent healthy relationships with yourself/families and others.
  • The sessions focus on overcoming stress, establishing emotional well being, and implementing the 12 Step program in daily living.
  • Education/Process Group: This group addresses issues faced in the early stages of recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Films, lectures, and guest speakers with structured exercises provide basic education that focuses on the disease of addiction and the recovery process.
  • Relapse Prevention Group: This group studies the implementation of the 12 Steps in daily living, with emphasis on daily triggers and relapse prevention that is essential in early recovery.
  • Spirituality Group: This group provides guidance on defining spirituality in the 12 Step program. The goal is to help you recognize a possible spiritual need and, if needed, begin the healing process.
  • Individual Therapy: Each week you will meet with your primary counselor for individual therapy scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time.
